This general guide explains how to connect, operate, store, and
troubleshoot a standard 510-thread cartridge and compatible battery.
Product-specific instructions from the cartridge and battery manufacturers
always take priority.

Important: This page is intended only for adults who
have reached the legal age applicable in their province or territory.
Vaping is not risk-free. Do not use an illegal, unregulated, damaged, or
modified cartridge or battery. Do not add any substance that was not
intended by the manufacturer.

1. Confirm compatibility

  • Confirm that both products use a standard 510-thread connection.
  • Check the battery manual for supported cartridge resistance, power, and
    voltage settings.
  • Read the cartridge label and package warnings before use.
  • Do not use a cartridge with cracked glass, a loose mouthpiece, visible
leakage, unusual discolouration, or damaged threading.

2. Prepare the battery

  1. Charge safely. Charge the battery using the cable,
adapter, and method approved by its manufacturer. Place it on a stable,
dry, non-flammable surface and do not use a damaged or swollen battery.
  2. Clean the connection. With the battery switched off,
ensure the threaded connection is clean and dry. Do not allow liquid to
    enter the battery.
  3. Review the controls. Some batteries are draw-activated;
others use a button, multiple clicks, or a separate power setting.

3. Attach the cartridge

  1. Remove any protective cap from the cartridge connection.
  2. Keep the cartridge upright and align the threads carefully.
  3. Turn it gently until finger-tight. Do not overtighten, force crossed
    threads, or use a tool.

4. Begin at the lowest supported setting

  1. If the battery has adjustable power, begin at the lowest setting allowed
by both manufacturers. Excess heat can damage the cartridge, change the
aerosol, create a burnt taste, or cause leakage.
  2. Activate the battery according to its manual. Take a short, gentle draw;
pulling very hard can flood the airway or draw liquid into the mouthpiece.
  3. Wait before using more. Effects from inhaled cannabis can begin within
seconds or minutes, but may take longer to reach their full intensity.
Follow the product label and the Health Canada principle:
    start low and go slow.
  4. Turn off or lock a button-operated battery when finished, if the device
    supports that function.

5. If the cartridge is not working

No vapour or weak vapour

  • Check that the battery is charged and switched on.
  • Remove and gently reattach the cartridge without overtightening.
  • Confirm that both contact points are clean and dry.
  • Confirm the battery setting is supported by the cartridge.

Blocked airflow

  • Keep the cartridge upright and allow it to reach room temperature.
  • Follow only the manufacturer's approved preheat or clearing procedure.
  • Do not pierce the cartridge, insert sharp objects, apply an open flame,
    or use uncontrolled external heat.

Burnt taste, overheating, or persistent leakage

  • Stop using the product immediately.
  • Switch off the battery and allow it to cool on a safe surface.
  • Do not continue to inhale in an attempt to repair or empty the cartridge.
  • Contact [SUPPORT EMAIL — CLIENT TO CONFIRM] with the
product name, order number, batch information, and clear photographs.

6. Storage and handling

  • Store the cartridge upright in a cool, dry place away from direct
sunlight, excessive heat, freezing temperatures, and moisture.
  • Keep cannabis and vaping products locked, out of sight, and out of reach
    of children and pets.
  • Keep the product in its original labelled packaging whenever possible.
  • Do not leave a cartridge or battery in a hot vehicle or near an open
    flame.
  • Disconnect the cartridge for longer storage if the battery manufacturer
    recommends it.

7. When to stop and seek help

Stop using the product if you experience an unexpected or severe reaction.
Seek medical attention promptly for symptoms such as chest pain, shortness
of breath, persistent coughing, fainting, severe confusion, or another
urgent health concern. Tell the healthcare professional what product and
device were used.
